I’ll get straight to the point:  I was an athlete.  I have been injured.  And I totally agree that being injured sucks.

Like you, I have a life.

I don’t have time for pain.

I don’t have money for pain.

And I especially don’t have the patience for pain.

My goal in massage therapy has always been to develop the quickest approach possible to address the issue at hand so that we can all MOVE ON!!  (pun intended.)

In 2012, I graduated from The Soma Institute of Clinical Massage Therapy and immediately began my career at EFT Sports Performance, a facility in Highland Park, IL that specializes in off-season training for elite, professional athletes.  I was directly responsible for implementing and overseeing an NFL Combine internship that ran every January through March that was centered on providing sports therapy to collegiate football players interested in pursuing a career in the NFL.

Also during my time at EFT, I was able to work directly with Olympic athletes and professionals from the NFL, MLB, and NBA.  Despite the obvious accolades associated with this level of clientele, my proudest moments came from my experiences working with high school student-athletes.

Unfortunately, recent news stories about despicable people committing hideous acts against our young athletes have tainted the sports medicine industry.  As a mother of two young sons myself, I recognize the need for ABSOLUTE TRANSPARENCY when it comes to performing any sort of soft tissue treatment.  My utmost goal is to provide a safe, sanitary, and pellucid environment in which parents, caregivers, and clients can confidently rely on our services to provide comprehensive, precise, and necessary treatment of soft tissue dysfunction.  Massage doesn’t need to be creepy.  Massage doesn’t need to be weird.  Massage, when performed correctly and in the right setting, is essential, effective, and fun!
